Campervan Hire Tasmania
Drivers must be over 21 years of age and must be on a full licence.
Overseas drivers must either have an international license or an english-translated license
We work in 24hr time... most of the time this saves a days rental on companies that use
the calendar day method.
Don't have a credit card?? no worries as long as the Gold Insurance reduction package is taken
you can still hire a campervan or motorhome.. There is a $300 cash bond required.
There is a $300 bond on all campervans and motorhomes.. A manual swipe of credit card is taken on commencement of hire to cover insurance excess and the $300 bond.. we do not freeze or debit this from your account
We accept Visa, Mastercard and also Visa and Mastercard Debit Cards
From the 1st June 2010 there is a 1.5% fee payable when hire is paid with a credit card
We now also accept AMEX, there is a 3.5% fee on the total of the rental
There is a pre paid $24 gas charge applied to all campervan and motorhome rentals
(this is due to its getting too hard for customers to find somewhere to refill bottles)
There is no airport charges applied to campervans and motorhomes picked up from Airport
we also offer a free pickup service from local accommodation
A $55 relocation fee is applied to all rentals if dropping off at a different location
There is a late fee of $15 applied to late pickups (after 5pm)
We provide 24hr Roadside Assistance for breakdowns and emergencies
All Campervans and Motorhomes have a $1500 damage liabilty excess aslo a
$1500 single vehicle accident excess

There is no restrictions on gravel roads, please be aware that if accident occurs on a gravel road it is classed
as a single vehicle accident and the full $3000 and the $300 bond is payable.
All overhead and undercarriage damage is the renters responsability
Please note that in the event that the Vehicle is written off or in a major accident you will be liable and will forfeit the Security Bond and the Excess will be payable.
If cancelled up to 24 days prior to pick up no fee is charged. If cancelled 14 to 24 days prior to pick up, a fee of 20 percent of the total rental cost will be charged. If cancelled 4 to 13 days prior to pick up, a fee of 50 percent of the total rental cost will be charged. If cancelled within the 3 days prior to pick up, or if the renter does not collect the vehicle, the full amount of the total rental cost will be charged.
If the vehicle is returned early for any reason, no refund will be given.
